I just want to apologize if I'm away from dA for a little while.
My mom passed away on Saturday, after a tough, 8-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by my dad, my brother, and me.
It all still feels like a dream. Like she will wake up from a nap and want something to drink. But her "magic chair" is empty, and the house is too quiet. It's not right and it's not fair that she had to go. It's not right for my grandfather to lose his daughter. It's not fair she will not see her grandchildren, or go wedding dress shopping with me.
I hope everyone else had a good New Year's Eve evening, and I wish you all the best in 2012.

i love to bake, and especially decorate, cupcakes. they're an expression of my creativity
i often have good ideas for art or montages, but don't have the means or the knowledge to put them together
